Erdbeertarte - Strawberry Tart

It's Tuesday! Time for a rendezvous with one of Dorie Greenspan's recipes. Marie over at A Year in Oak Cottage chose La Palette's Strawberry Tart on page 374 from Baking: From my home to yours. Perfect for this time of the year! The season for fresh strawberries from northern Germany just began. I love to buy strawberries local. No long flights or a "tour d'Europe" in climatised vans.
As Dorie made it up to the baker to choose a tart crust I took a crust dough I had in the freezer. The crust was done quickly. I spread some strawberry jam on the crust. That was a little difficult as the jam was of a finde quality with lots of whole fruit. For this purpose it was difficult to handle as I couldn't spread it evenly. I didn't flavour the strawberries with alcohol as suggested but added just a little confectioner's sugar.
I served the tarte with greek yoghurt and a hint of ground black pepper. Delicious!

die fotos sind einfach weltklasse. food-fotografie is eh so schwierig. liegt es an der beleuchtung?
Das Foto ist wirklich sehr appetitlich. Hinzu kommt, dass ich jeden Tag neue Erdbeerrezepte ausporbiere. Die Tart sollte ich auch mal nachbacken! Meine Familie und meine Nachbarn werden es mir bestimmt danken... ;-)))
