Butterscotch Pudding

I was very busy the last few weeks and couldn't try every recipe that the gorgeous bakers of "Tuesdays with Dorie" chose. Now one day before "Holy Night" in Germany I tried the butterscotch pudding chosen by Donna of Spatulas, Corkscrews & Suitcases
To be honest: It's a lovely pudding but nothing I would make for guests or when in a hurry. Too much work for a nice but not spectacular pudding - especially one day before christmas. Do I need to say that I didn't use the food processor?
